Letto di Vino is a small scale boutique countryhouse in the hills of Piemonte, created for those who value calm, space, and authenticity.
Surrounded by vineyards and shaped by the rhythm of the seasons, it reflects a way of life rooted in nature, simplicity, and genuine hospitality.
Living where the grapes grow is not just our motto, but the foundation of everything we do here. Letto di Vino was created by Peter and Greta, who consciously chose this place and this region to create a small scale retreat where guests feel at home from the very first moment.
Our story
At Letto di Vino, we bring our background and experience together in everything we do. Our shared love for hospitality, cooking, and wine shapes the atmosphere our guests experience here.
Greta has a background in hospitality and a strong passion for cooking. She enjoys working with seasonal ingredients and lets her own garden and local produce guide her inspiration. Through her experience in restaurants and as an event manager, we understand how important attention, timing, and atmosphere are for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. With her natural affinity for wine and flavour pairings, she shows how food and wine can complement each other in a calm and welcoming setting.
Before moving to Italy, Peter worked in the financial sector in the Netherlands. Over time, his interest in wine, culture, and gastronomy grew steadily. He completed the vinology programme of the Dutch Wine Academy and focused in particular on viticulture and on both Old World and New World wines. We enjoy sharing this knowledge with guests who are curious about wine and the stories behind the bottle.
At home among the vineyards
Through years of travel and getting married in Italy, the country gradually became part of who we are and ultimately led us to Piemonte.
We found our home among the vineyards and chose to preserve its original character. The rooms are authentic and intentionally simple, inspired by a traditional Italian country house.
Letto di Vino is a peaceful retreat for adult guests.
Guests are welcome to share our interest in wine, or simply enjoy a coffee, an aperitivo, or a non alcoholic drink. What matters most is feeling comfortable and at home.
